10月14日（火）より、 新潟県側からの関田峠へのアクセスができなくなります。
長野側から関田峠にアクセスすることは可能ですが、新潟側への通り抜けはできません。
これは 県道95号線（県道上越飯山線）の道路工事に伴う通行止めによるものです。
また道路はそのまま冬季閉鎖となるため、来春まで利用不可となります。

また、それに伴い、「光ヶ原高原キャンプ場」の今期営業は10月13日をもって終了となります。
しかしながら、信越トレイル利用者は、テント泊ができるスペースとしてご活用いただくことは可能です。
ご利用の際のご予約は不要です。
電源・照明等はございませんが、敷地内にある炊事場の水・トイレは利用が可能です。
クローズ後の炊事場の水はろ過・消毒がなされていないため、浄水や煮沸をおこなってからご使用ください。
キャンプ場へは、徒歩のみのアクセスが可能です。
ゴミは必ず持ち帰るなど、マナーを守ってご利用ください。

From October 14 onward, access to Sekida Pass (from the Niigata side only) and use of the Hikarigahara Highland Campsite will not be available.

Starting Tuesday, October 14, access to Sekida Pass from the Niigata side will be closed.
Access from the Nagano side will remain possible, but you will not be able to pass through to the Niigata side.
This closure is due to road construction on Prefectural Route 95 (Joetsu–Iiyama Line).
The road will then remain closed for the winter season and will not reopen until next spring.

Accordingly, operations at the Hikarigahara Highland Campsite will end for this season on October 13.
However, Shin-Etsu Trail users may still use the site as a tent camping area.
No reservation is required for use.
While there are no power outlets or lighting, water and toilets at the cooking area on the premises will remain available.
Please note that after the campsite closure, the water at the cooking area will not be filtered or disinfected, so be sure to purify or boil it before use.

The campsite is accessible on foot only.
Please follow proper etiquette, including carrying out all trash when you leave.
